Stone Wall

A stone wall of one of the older buildings in town, probably dating to around the turn of the century. It's made from a combination of local volcanic stones. You can see that a door once existed on this section of wall, but has since been filled in.

Walls and buildings made of stone like this are so interesting to look at, QUITE unlike some of the dreaded modern sheet-metal "buildings."

Nice photo of the stone wall. What is the building used for?

Wow...this is very similar to the stone barn in the Town of Chase in Oconto Cty, Wisconsin. Where was this taken? I have been searching for structures with stones like the ones in the stone barn (color, size, etc) and can't find any. Do you have more pics of this building? www.townofchase.org
