This photo is of my wife during a recent trip to the Grand Canyon. The Canyon is only about an hour and a half away from Flagstaff, so we often drive up there and watch the sun set over the northwest rim. The light and shadows do some amazing things to the Canyon at sunset, so if you do visit the canyon I recommend staying until sundown. You wont regret it.

What a wonderful place to have nearby for photography. Your wife is also very photogenic.
Lovely photo of the canyon and your spouse.
Thanks for the advice about staying for sundown when visiting there.
Thanks for leaving a comment on my site - I appreciate it!
I can only imagine how amazing the sunsets are over the Grand Canyon.
Hi Dustin
Thanks for the comment - yes, the tummy is the main reason for me stopping the photoblogging for a while - but I gave birth this monday, so who knows - I may be back blogging at some point.
I hope you and your wife have a great stay in Copenhagen. Please feel free to ask, if you have any questions about the city. I'll try to help if I can.
Farvel og tak :-)

Thank you for the kind words on my site - I'm glad to see another Arizona blog! Looks like you do great work!
This is picture postcard perfect, Dustin.
Very beautiful photograph… the two subjects are very beautiful… your wife and the canyon behind… I like much this image black and white
What a gorgeous looking lady, with a lovely smile. You're a lucky fellow. The Grand Canyon doesn't look too bad either!
This is the second time I stop over here in a long time. I examined all of your pictures and ended up praising the same subject. Please don't take me wrong :). I didn't remember the last photo. I said to myself wow what a wondeful image, tha canyon, the light , bw and a beautiful girl. Then I remembered, hey isn't she the girl with the fantastic light dawning on her face and then I laughed to myself. I am sorry about that but you should be proud. Great picture. Congratulations.
What a great photo. A beautiful woman with a beautiful backround.
Another great time to see the canyon is early morning before the crowds. The light is gorgeous...and the same view changes, minute by minute. You are lucky to live so close to this beautiful spot.
