Route 66 Dog Haus

This is the Route 66 Dog Haus located, appropriately enough, on History Route 66 in Flagstaff. It's a retro hot dog stand where you can walk up and order or, if you're in a hurry, use the drivethru. I have yet to get a dog here, but I'm sure when I do it will be delicious.

A unique building and I would probably stop there for a dog even thought I don't particularly like hot dogs.

You have got to try the Chili Cheese Dogs! Deee-licious! I don't really care for fast food, but this is one I'll never forget! The chili cheese fries are awesome as well. It's nice to see a "Mom and Pop" do as good if not better than the chains. Always a line at the drive in... So that should tell you something. Get a chili cheese dog! YUM!

Try the bacon croissant breakfast sandwiches. Those are excellent as well! If you're really hungry, the super burrito is pretty yummy, but it's HUGE!

Jackson Browne originally began writing "Take It Easy" in 1971 for his debut album. His friend and then-neighbor Glen Frey heard an early version and liked it so much that Browne gave it to him for his new band (The Eagles). The real corner that the song was about was outside of the "Dog Haus" in Flagstaff, Arizona, but Winslow sounded better. (From Wiki)
