October Snow

Pumpkins on our deck after an October snowstorm. I like this photo for its use of color, with the contrasting orange of the pumpkins, blue of the sky, white of the snow and black of the tree trunks. What do you think?

It should get to about 92 degrees here in southern Ohio where I live. Too hot too soon. Almost more than I can bear. And to open your page and see snow on the pumpkin is refreshing and takes my mind off the heat.

Nice shot.

My daughter, Melinda, has a picture she took on my blog. It is a stunning macro.
