There are two species of trees that dominate the Flagstaff area. One of them is the ponderosa pine and the other is the quaking aspen. I always find it very difficult to photograph tall trees.

Love your aspen shots - I was able to get some good ones of the poplar trees up north, but it's not easy to capture their height.
