I really, really like the new one. The old one is beautiful...but the new one is just edgier!!!
Both are representative of your city, but the new one is great because it has your city's name. The mountains are picture perfect!

I always thought the first banner was "purty as a post card", but given the reason for your blog in the first place, it makes more sense to have the sign in the photo. Also a good pic with both fore- and background in focus. Good job. Keep changing every now and then. Variety is the spice of life.
