I caught this little guy sunning himself on a rock in Canyon de Chelly near Chinle, AZ. If any one knows what type of lizard it is, I'd love to know
He is close to being camouflaged on that rock. Nice photo.
I believe this is a western fence lizard...Sceloperus occidentalis.go to enature.com and check it out for local species.How many 'collared lizards' have you had pose for you?
