We came across this strangely curved aspen on Inner Basin Trail a few weeks ago. For some reason most of the aspen trees in this grove were curved like this to some degree. Mother Nature sure is a mad scientist.
Do you suppose a wild wind blew or a flood slid the earth, causing the trees to tilt for a while before overcorrecting, then straightening? Is there a theory about this grove of trees?

Was there a storm?

I kwon what it is.
It's another sign of the Heroes mania :)
I like this photo of an unusual tree. Perhaps wind? Who knows, unless one specializes in this kind of thing.
