This is something that you don't see everyday... a hummingbird at the feeder while it's snowing! We got about 3 inches of snow here in Flagstaff on Friday. Can you believe it?! Snow on May 23rd in ARIZONA!!! Anyway, we had already hung our hummingbird feeder up a few weeks ago and this brave little guy was out in the worst of it feeding on our deck. I can do that one better -- a few years ago, we saw a hummer outside looking for the feeder that we hadn't put there yet. It was a year like this.
I would love just to see a hummingbird in te flesh, never mind one of the feeder. I can do siskins on my hand, but no hummgbirds. Great capture.
